THE ICONIC

Australia's newest online boutique has just launched and if the hype is to be believed it is going to be a huge player in the retail market.

The ICONIC is now open for business specialising in clothing and footwear. It caters to both men and women and has been guided by Sarah Gale, which you may remember as one of the judges on Australia's project runway.

I like the balance of Australian designers and the range in price points, as it has something for everybody. But my main admiration is for the promise of 3-hour express shipping, now that is something to look forward to.

I have been so busy lately that i haven't really had a chance to update the blog over the past few weeks.

A couple of weeks ago i held a stall at the Bondi markets for Esoteric Wardrobe.

It was a beautiful sunny day and alot of people came down and purchased some vintage and some new pieces. I am thinking about holding another stall over the summer but this weather is so unpredictable it is hard to pick a date!

My online clothing store Esoteric wardrobe's main focus is selling wonderfully thrifted vintage garments and accessories. However i also have the 'Main store' section where i sell brand new unique pieces that really catch my eye.

I attended a buyers appointment and fell in love with the label Lumier. They create beautiful clothing and their price points are fantastic. The quality of their garments are also fantastic.

Mexicano

My weekend pretty much just consisted of working and eating great food. I love a good mexican feast and El Loco in Surry hills delivers the goods. Cheap and tasty. Wearing my esoteric wardrobe second skin jacket which would have to be the piece of clothing i have worn the most out of my closet, so versatile and comfy! I've also gotten alot of wear out of my gold diva necklace, i love cheap jewellery finds that pretty much go with any outfit.

Lumier Laser cut shorts

Last week we received our stock order from Lumier containing these stunning laser cut shorts. They are made from the softest of fabrics and have a laser cut pattern on them. They also have a beautifully scalloped hemline. Each short comes with it's own belt made from the same material and will make the best investment piece for this spring/summer season. incredible heights

I am currently obsessed with maxi skirts and chunky ankle boots. Last night i went out for dinner in surry hills for my brother's birthday and wore this ensemble. The maxi is made from a thin material and luckily for me the weather played nice and it wasn't too cold.

I've always had a soft spot for draping

Purple haze

The weather today is absolutely beautiful (even though we are in the middle of winter) and it is making me so much more excited for spring. I cannot wait until the weather permits me to step out of the house in a gorgeous pair of shorts and soak up some sun rays, as evident by my pasty skin i am in dire need.

I love the flowers that are popping up and combined with the sun makes for some beautiful scenery and thought i would try and capture that with a few photos.

The main thing keeping me happy in winter is warm, textured cuddly fabrics like this deep purple number. I will upload a few vintage sweaters onto the store this week so keep an eye out x

After attending a number of shows at this years Rosemount Australian Fashion week i was well aware that one of the biggest trends for Spring/Summer will be all white ensembles and i couldn't be happier. I am curently obsessing over anything in white, which is a change from my usual black favourites. I've posted a few of my favourite images.

Now i am just counting down the days where the weather will permit me to wear sheer chiffon white dreamy outfits.
