A few shots from my instagram from the last few weeks, i clearly have an obsession with food shots and have been wearing my fur coat non stop.

Turquoise

I am currently having a wardrobe crisis - where i am disliking or fed up with everything i own. I'm sure many of you have felt the same thing....right? What is also disheartening is that i am on a self imposed shopping ban as i am trying to be a responsible adult and save my hard earn't money...as well as planning a trip away. So in saying that i am trying to search through my wardrobe and wear things that have never seen the time of day, such as this turqouise cropped top with white ruffled hem. I do have a few garments that are still hanging with the tags on them, so i think it is about time i put them to use.

A couple of years ago it seemed that all of my outfits consisted of black pieces. Everything i would buy would be in black as it was the hue i was most comfortable in and everything looks good in that tone. However i realised i looked like a bit of an emo and decided i wanted to add a bit of colour and lighter tones to my wardrobe. Since then it seems like i haven't bought a single black piece! At least i stuck with my plan and as you can see in tonights outfit...not a single black item! Wooo here is to me finally sticking to one of my plans! I am completely obssesed with cream and white, pastels, gold accents and tan accessories. I am also a huge fan of a red lip to add a pop.

Resolution

People have been talking about their new years resolutions and i thought i should come up with a few things myself this year. I usually don' t make any as i know i most probably will not go through with it, but i am going to put more effort in this year. Firstly i want to spend some more time focusing on my blog. I generally am always in a hurry and don't have time to take photos and post but i will try and set aside some more time from now on.

Secondly i would like to try and buy more investment fashion pieces rather than trend focused items. My wardrobe is currently overflowing with pieces i have worn once or garments that still have tags on them and the clutter is really frustrating me. I would rather buy a few key pieces that i know will be on high rotation.

Thirdly i want to try and focus on getting my butt down to yoga  classes. I am generally an anxious person and mediatating will help me relax and hopefully i will be able to tone up a bit!

In saying that i got a few packages this week from Asos as i was trying to follow through with my 2nd resoultion. I scored this red leather cropped tank which i know i will get so much wear out of. I absolutely LOVE anything in leather. It is vibrant and extremely versatile.

Peachy keen

One of the things that makes me so excited like a kid in a candy store would have to be bargain hunting. Especially now that i am trying to be all responsible and save up. I was so excited to find these incredibly adorable shorts on sale for $15! I've only worn them once and have gotten quite a few compliments already, i may just invest in a cream pair as well...

Contradiction

I haven't had a chance to do an outfit post for a while so i took a few quick snaps before leaving the house to grab some lunch with a friend. This weather is a total contradiction as it is sunny, hot and humid one minute and then pouring rain and storming the next.

A few of my favourite things

We all have those pieces in our wardrobe that we absolutely love. Sometimes they may cost a small fortune and sometimes they are absolute bargains that you cannot believe you came across. These are a few of my all time wardrobe pieces that i have gotten alot of wear out of. I found this vintage chanel flap bag in an op shop and fell in love as soon as i set my eyes upon it. I have had it for a few years now and i know i will not be letting go of it anytime soon, if ever. I also wear my YSL arty oval ring constantly and am desperately wanting to purchase another in the turquoise. My chloe sunglasses are a new purchase and i know i will be wearing them non stop over the summer period. I'm sure you all have anumber of items you are obsessed about just like myself.

White Roses

I love love love wednesday, basically becuase it is my day off, it is the mid week mark and wednesdays are the days i set off and find stock for the store. I was ecstatic to wake up to crystal blue skies and the lovely rays of sun seeping through my window. There is still abit of cold chill coming through so i wasn't prepared to go bare legged but am happy to be able to wear a sundress without the bulky layers.

I was so busy i didn't have time for lunch but managed to indulge on a delicious berry bloom smoothie and muesli cookie mmmm.

I managed to find some great stock, i can't wait to upload on to the store.

Spring is truly upon us

This saturday brought out some glorious sydney spring weather, the sun was shining and i was happy to have the day off. I spent the day shopping and lunching with mum and dad and felt like i was 10 years old again, but it was nice spending some quality time with them. I also picked up a new pair of Chloe sunglasses.

Saturday night i went out with a few girlfriends for one of their birthday/going away celebrations. Had a delicious homemade fettucine with salmon and leek pasta at Caffe Roma and green tea gelato for dessert.

Pop of red

I have kept a close eye on some brightly coloured clutches on asos constantly adding them to my list in every single colourway. However i have come across some tutorials on the internet on how to sew one yourself.

It was my day off yesterday and off i went down to spotlight and grabbed some fabric, thread and buttons and tried my hand. A mere couple of minutes later i had my very own red clutch. Surely it isn't as pretty as those on asos but it will add that pop of colour to my outfits im after and it kept me entertained for a while.
