Hunter Weekend

 

Earlier in August i managed to escape to the Hunter Valley for a girls weekend. I'd never been before and always wanted to go to check out the wine tours. We stayed at the Crowne which was so serene and beautiful and we indulged on buffet breakfasts each morning - major win!

We went to 4 wine tastings and were educated on how to distinguish between a good wine and those of the cheaper varieties which was pretty interesting. Our last stops were the cheese shop and chocolate shop -yum. All in all it was a great relaxing weekend, it doesn't get any better than indulging on a giant margarita and reading the paper on a sunny Sunday morning.

Last Weekend of Summer

It is already the 3rd day of Autumn! Cannot believe how quickly time flies by. With one of the coldest and wettest summers in Australia, there was little time to enjoy the sun and beach. Luckily for me on the last weekend of the season the boy surprised me with a day out. We made our way down to Terrigal Beach. The morning weather was perfect! The sun was shining and we enjoyed a dip in the ocean, with the water temp being amazing! We then enjoyed a stroll at the skillion, some chocolate gelato, cocktails and lunch. I couldn't think of a better way to spend my last summer Sunday.

Contradiction

I haven't had a chance to do an outfit post for a while so i took a few quick snaps before leaving the house to grab some lunch with a friend. This weather is a total contradiction as it is sunny, hot and humid one minute and then pouring rain and storming the next.
