Trend to try

The only thing that is getting me excited about the colder months is new trends and fashion to try out. 

These lovely ladies at London fashion week look absolutely amazing rocking a pant suit. I love the androgynous look, even though i hardly venture into that territory i may just have to give it a shot next season! Both are working the blue tones in their outfit. The first jazzes it up with cropped printed pants and a scalloped blazer and the second keeps in simple with a pop of colour on her lips.

A couple of years ago it seemed that all of my outfits consisted of black pieces. Everything i would buy would be in black as it was the hue i was most comfortable in and everything looks good in that tone. However i realised i looked like a bit of an emo and decided i wanted to add a bit of colour and lighter tones to my wardrobe. Since then it seems like i haven't bought a single black piece! At least i stuck with my plan and as you can see in tonights outfit...not a single black item! Wooo here is to me finally sticking to one of my plans! I am completely obssesed with cream and white, pastels, gold accents and tan accessories. I am also a huge fan of a red lip to add a pop.

A couple of weeks ago a friend of mine asked me if i could help her out with a shoot for her uni assignment. The shoot was to be inspired by a culture and she decided to do a Spanish theme. On the day we didn't really have a location picked out and drove around aimlessly for a while until we decided to check out one of the local churches. It ended up having quite a few places we could shoot around. Thankfully it was desserted that day as i tried to complete some super quick costume changes behind one of the boulders. Definately not the type of outfits i would usually wear but we had a lot of fun shooting!

Nautical

So once again the weather gods have been toying with us, one minute it is raining, then storming, then it is sunny, then cloudy....then sunny again. This weekend was a relaxing one for me and mainly consisted of lazing around, lunching, getting things ready for the market, heading out for dinner, dessert, online shopping and watching how i met your mother season 6. Pretty much a standard weekend for me, and i  love it.

I am currently having a love affair with stripes. I managed to grab this skirt from sportsgirl a month or more ago and realised i hadn't even worn it yet. I love the baby blue and white stripes and think it will make a great piece for the warmer months. I also was inspired to try something different with my hair and i just love a ruby red lip.
