Zushi Date

 

This weekend my boy and i celebrated our 4 year anniversary (crazy!) Since we are going away in 2weeks we decided to not give any presents and just head out for a nice dinner date. Last minute we decided to go to Zushi on Crown st and my goodness what a great choice that was! We absolutely loved everything that we ordered.

What we got:

Edamame

Special of the night: Scampi cooked with cream and butter

Tiger roll

Ocean roll

Terriyake salmon with brown rice

Wagyu carpacio with garlic chips

2 jugs of Sake sangria (yes 2 delicious jugs!)

Green tea pancakes with dark chocolate sauce, caramalised nuts and ice cream

It was all amazingly good and cannot recommend it enough.

Birthday Suit

Last weekend i celebrated my birthday (still can't believe i am 23!) I was spoilt and taken out shopping all day, an amazing mexican lunch at el loco where i indulged on Taco's and Tequila, 2 of my favourite things. Then i was taken out for desssert, cocktails, dinner and more cocktails. I had a great weekend with great friends and my lovely family. 

Had no idea what i was going to wear and pulled this outfit together at the last minute.

Hunted

Resolution

People have been talking about their new years resolutions and i thought i should come up with a few things myself this year. I usually don' t make any as i know i most probably will not go through with it, but i am going to put more effort in this year. Firstly i want to spend some more time focusing on my blog. I generally am always in a hurry and don't have time to take photos and post but i will try and set aside some more time from now on.

Secondly i would like to try and buy more investment fashion pieces rather than trend focused items. My wardrobe is currently overflowing with pieces i have worn once or garments that still have tags on them and the clutter is really frustrating me. I would rather buy a few key pieces that i know will be on high rotation.

Thirdly i want to try and focus on getting my butt down to yoga  classes. I am generally an anxious person and mediatating will help me relax and hopefully i will be able to tone up a bit!

In saying that i got a few packages this week from Asos as i was trying to follow through with my 2nd resoultion. I scored this red leather cropped tank which i know i will get so much wear out of. I absolutely LOVE anything in leather. It is vibrant and extremely versatile.

Love affair

Just when i thought my love affair with Asos could not get any deeper, i receive a parcel from them simply 6 days after placing my order. Now that is some serious speedy service considering it had to be shipped from the uk and i placed my order over a weekend. In that parcel was this lovely purple rugged stone ring which is lovely. I am also waiting for another package this week....postman must be getting sick of me.

White Roses

I love love love wednesday, basically becuase it is my day off, it is the mid week mark and wednesdays are the days i set off and find stock for the store. I was ecstatic to wake up to crystal blue skies and the lovely rays of sun seeping through my window. There is still abit of cold chill coming through so i wasn't prepared to go bare legged but am happy to be able to wear a sundress without the bulky layers.

I was so busy i didn't have time for lunch but managed to indulge on a delicious berry bloom smoothie and muesli cookie mmmm.

I managed to find some great stock, i can't wait to upload on to the store.

Nautical

So once again the weather gods have been toying with us, one minute it is raining, then storming, then it is sunny, then cloudy....then sunny again. This weekend was a relaxing one for me and mainly consisted of lazing around, lunching, getting things ready for the market, heading out for dinner, dessert, online shopping and watching how i met your mother season 6. Pretty much a standard weekend for me, and i  love it.

I am currently having a love affair with stripes. I managed to grab this skirt from sportsgirl a month or more ago and realised i hadn't even worn it yet. I love the baby blue and white stripes and think it will make a great piece for the warmer months. I also was inspired to try something different with my hair and i just love a ruby red lip.
