Zushi Date

 

This weekend my boy and i celebrated our 4 year anniversary (crazy!) Since we are going away in 2weeks we decided to not give any presents and just head out for a nice dinner date. Last minute we decided to go to Zushi on Crown st and my goodness what a great choice that was! We absolutely loved everything that we ordered.

What we got:

Edamame

Special of the night: Scampi cooked with cream and butter

Tiger roll

Ocean roll

Terriyake salmon with brown rice

Wagyu carpacio with garlic chips

2 jugs of Sake sangria (yes 2 delicious jugs!)

Green tea pancakes with dark chocolate sauce, caramalised nuts and ice cream

It was all amazingly good and cannot recommend it enough.

Sparkles

Last weekend i went to a cupcake baking class at Sparkles Cupcakes in Surry Hills. We had a load of fun decorating (and eating) the cakes. We were shown how to make the batter from scratch, then had a break and indulged on some sandwiches and glittered macroons! After our break we were shown some decorating techniques and as the 2nd last image shows, this is what i came up with. After the class i went to Bondi pizza for lunch and had the most amazing beef salad, i get cravings for it every day
