This weekend was spent celebrating my boy's birthday. We went out on friday night with some friends for as few drinks, then i took him to dinner at Black by Ezard. The food and drinks were great but the highlight was definitely the chocolate ganache, dulce de leche ice cream and peanut butter mousse dessert. Droolworthy!

Zushi Date

 

This weekend my boy and i celebrated our 4 year anniversary (crazy!) Since we are going away in 2weeks we decided to not give any presents and just head out for a nice dinner date. Last minute we decided to go to Zushi on Crown st and my goodness what a great choice that was! We absolutely loved everything that we ordered.

What we got:

Edamame

Special of the night: Scampi cooked with cream and butter

Tiger roll

Ocean roll

Terriyake salmon with brown rice

Wagyu carpacio with garlic chips

2 jugs of Sake sangria (yes 2 delicious jugs!)

Green tea pancakes with dark chocolate sauce, caramalised nuts and ice cream

It was all amazingly good and cannot recommend it enough.

A few of my favourite things

We all have those pieces in our wardrobe that we absolutely love. Sometimes they may cost a small fortune and sometimes they are absolute bargains that you cannot believe you came across. These are a few of my all time wardrobe pieces that i have gotten alot of wear out of. I found this vintage chanel flap bag in an op shop and fell in love as soon as i set my eyes upon it. I have had it for a few years now and i know i will not be letting go of it anytime soon, if ever. I also wear my YSL arty oval ring constantly and am desperately wanting to purchase another in the turquoise. My chloe sunglasses are a new purchase and i know i will be wearing them non stop over the summer period. I'm sure you all have anumber of items you are obsessed about just like myself.

CHANEL show in Cannes

The Chanel cruise show was held in Cannes where only the creme de la creme were invited to view the collection. Chanel ambassadors Blake lively and Vanessa Paradis were on the list of course as well as other stylish ladies and chanel favourites Clemence Poesy, Alexa Chung, Rachel Bilson, Poppy Delivigne and Anna Mouglalis.

Blake rocked a sequin blazer and Vanessa wore a jumpsuit both by Chanel.

My favourite look would have to go to Poppy delivigne's super micro suit and short combo, only legs like those could pull off such a look and i adore the red lipstick for a pop of colour.
